Specializing in the assembly of both conventional leaded and surface mounted component printed circuit boards, Circor Solutions strives to exceed customer expectations by offering outstanding customer service, increased flexibility and improved operation efficiency. The staff members are distinguished by their hands on expertise in this niche field and their conscious attitude towards quality.
Circor Solutions is the only Thick Film Hybrid manufacturing facility in South Africa. We are involved in every stage of the hybrid circuit design and manufacture, providing continual functional and technical support to our valued customers
At Circor Solutions we do design of printed circuit boards, this is a process where our electronics hardware design engineer will design the circuit and then our PCB layout specialist will undertake the PCB layout.
At Circor Solutions we have the expertise to program the PCB microcontrollers using C as the programming language, the PCBs are then tested against any various possible measures.
Circor Solutions also provides customers a component procurement service. Here, customers present component requirements or full B.O.M (Bills of Materials) which Circor Solutions through its network of local and international suppliers is able to source.
At Circor Solutions, this is one of the most important parts of the surface mount assembly process is the application of solder paste to the printed circuit board (PCB). The aim of this process is to accurately deposit the correct amount onto each of the pads to be soldered. This is achieved by screen-printing the solder paste through a stencil or foil.
At Circor Solutions PCBs population is done on a MYDATA pick and place machines and a reflow oven or belt reflow available for lead free applications. The MYDATA MY9 is capable of placing 18000 components per hour.
Reflow soldering is the most widely used method of attaching surface mount components to printed circuit boards (PCBs). The aim of the process is to form acceptable solder joints by first pre-heating the components/PCB/solder paste and then melting the solder without causing damage by overheating.
Circor Solutions can handle complex through-hole assembly challenges. Our manual lines are designed to minimize product travel and operator movement. Documentation and in-process checks ensure accurate and complete population of the assembly. Our through-hole assembly capability enables us to be a cost effective and flexible contract manufacturing facility.
With the bulk of the manufactured product for the Military sub-contractors and export, a high level of quality is a given within this environment. Circor Solutions uses a GOPEL AOI 09-5411BL-208 machine to improve its assembly inspection process.
Our ultrasonic electronic cleaner machine operates at the frequency of 20-400 Khz allowing safe cavitation cleaning action that reaches all parts of the surface for cleaning the PCBs. This procedure removes flux and ionic residue from the PCB.
We offer extensive testing services specific to your circuit board assembly products. In addition to supporting each of the different types of PCB testing requirements, we can also design, develop and build automated functional test fixtures with thorough procedural documentation. Our test development services include component level testing, circuit assembly testing, fully assembled unit testing.
At Circor Solutions we do conformal coating to protect electronic circuits from harsh environments that may contain high humidity, a range of airborne contaminants and varying temperatures. We use a protective coating or polymer film 25-75µm thick (50µm typical) that conforms to the circuit board topology.
We truly care about our customers, services and our products.
